What is a 'reused chip' Toner?

These toners are fitted with a chip from off a used OEM/Original Toner.  A Printer will state the Toner is running low, however, this message can be bypassed and the toner can be used in its entirety.
Due to this method these Toners are never blocked by any potential Firmware Updates from HP too.

What is a 'new chip' Toner?

New Chip Toners are fitted with a compatible chip. This enables the printer to read the Toner as usual, recording the print count and remaining Toner level, however, these can potentially be blocked by a Firmware Update - when using these Toners we encourage the Automatic Firmware Updates to be turned off. The Toner's Warranty does cover this issue though.
